Broker Opinion of Value (BOV)
A licensed broker's market-based estimate of a property's likely value — quicker and less formal than an appraisal.
A broker opinion of value (BOV) is a licensed broker's estimate of a property's likely market value, based on comparable sales, in-place income, and current market conditions. It is not a formal appraisal, but it is a fast, grounded read used to inform hold, sell, refinance, or reposition decisions. Adventum's BOV adds a developer's view of highest and best use.
