Feasibility Study
An analysis, done before capital is committed, of whether and how a site can profitably be developed.
A development feasibility study tests what a site can support — zoning and entitlements, utility capacity and cost, site work, developable yield — against construction cost and the value or cash flow the finished asset would produce. Its output is a go / no-go the owner can underwrite against. It is the least expensive way to de-risk, or walk away from, a piece of land.
