Pre-Engineered Steel Building
A building whose primary steel structure is engineered and fabricated off-site to a specific design, then erected on a prepared pad.
A pre-engineered (or pre-engineered metal) building is a structural system designed and fabricated off-site — primary frames, secondary framing, and cladding — then shipped and erected on a prepared foundation. Because the structure is engineered to the specific building and fabricated while site work proceeds, it is typically faster to erect and more cost-efficient than conventional construction for industrial, warehouse, flex, and commercial uses.
